Winter: Monday-Friday 10 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Saturday-Sunday 10 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Summer: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm Every day.

We can accommodate groups large and small with a fun filled day of Underground Adventure and Mining. Schedule your group today!!
Parties of 25 people or more, who schedule ahead, are eligible for our group discount packages. The tour is led by a guide who discusses the Dahlonega Gold Rush, the engineering and mining techniques the early miners used, and much more!
There are three different packages now available! Each Package includes the Underground Adventure. You can choose to Pan For Gold or Mine For Gemstones - or do both! Prices and descriptions are listed below.
There is a limited number of space for groups each day. Please book your group as early as possible to insure that you receive the date and time requested. Don't forget to mention which package you are interested in!!
As a Bonus, your group will get One Free Adult per 25 paid student admissions.

Package #1
UNDERGROUND ADVENTURE & GOLD PANNING
This is our basic package. It includes the 40 minute Underground Tour of the Gold Mine, Gold Panning Instructions, and a chance to strike it RICH with our sampler gold pan. This package is sure to delight!
Children (ages 4-14 years)$ 8.00
Adults (ages 14 and up) $ 10.00.
Allow 1 hour - 1 hour and 30 minutes for this package.

Package #2
UNDERGROUND ADVENTURE & GEMSTONE MINING
We took the basic package and added a twist, Gemstones! Package 2 includes the 40 minute Underground Tour of the Gold Mine, Gem Mining Instructions, and a chance to strike it RICH with our sampler gem bucket. Each participant will get to use our water powered flumes to sift for stones. This package is highly recommended for younger students!
Children (ages 4-14 years)$ 9.00
Adults (ages 14 and up) $ 11.00.
Allow 1 hour - 1 hour and 45 minutes for this package.

This Package has it ALL! Package 3 includes the 40 minute Underground Tour of the Gold Mine, Gold Panning and Gem Mining Instructions, and a chance to strike it RICH with our sampler gold pan and our sampler gem bucket.

Allow 2 hours - 2 hours and 30 minutes for this package.

Georgia public schools are sales tax exempt. Schools and other tax exempt groups should fax their sales tax exemption form (ST5) before arriving to receive 7% discount. One Free adult per 25 students.
