Reservations are not required for parties under 25 people. Just let us know how many are in your group when you arrive at the ticket counter, even if you are paying individually. For groups of 25 or more, see our Group Tours section of the website.
Tours leave every 20-35 minutes throughout the day. All you have to do is show up and we will get you on the next available tour. We are busiest on weekdays from 10 am to noon. Though rare, it is possible we may vary our departure times, without notice. During peak times or crowded times, waits can last much longer.

We are located just one mile from Historic Downtown Dahlonega, Georgia.

Strollers, walkers or wheelchairs are NOT allowed on the Underground Gold Mine Tour. You are welcome to have them in our gift shop, gem mining and gold panning areas.
We are closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. We close early on Christmas Eve, so call ahead.
We are OPEN all other holidays.
We are open rain or shine! Our gold panning and gem mining areas are completely indoors, so the weather is no issue. The Underground Gold Mine Tour will not be affected by rain either. It is always a little damp underground and the temperature stays around 60° Fahrenheit year-round. We are the perfect activity on any day!
For your safety, the comfort/safety of our employees and guests, and for the safety of your pet, we only allow service animals as defined by the ADA. Our staff will follow ADA guidance when evaluating service animals for entry.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover debit and credit cards, as well as Cash. We do not accept American Express or personal checks.
